Island Hopping
You can book an island hopping tour with us – we’ll charter a boat, bring snorkeling gear and pack a picnic. Some of the islands have great BBQ places where we can grill the freshly caught fish for your lunch (or a thick slab of pork belly!) and you can enjoy the beach and the corals – being the only visitors on the island. We offer these picnic lunches for a package price of Php 5,400, good for up to 6 people. This includes the boat rental, beach entry fee, service fee, and a shaded table. If you'd like to, you can also combine the island picknick with your boat dives! Discover the amazing underwater world and then have a nice lunch and chill at the beach.
We also organize various other water related activities. In case you prefer some more action on the water, we can organize windsurfing and kayaking with the local operators in Anilao.

Mt. Gulugod Baboy
Although diving is much fun and you can do it all day long, it is by far not the only activity you can engage in when staying at our Guesthouse. We are also located in the midst of a landscape that is breathtakingly beautiful above water. The hill rising east of our Guesthouse is Mt. Gulugod Baboy and the view from its top is absolutely stunning. One option would be to hike up the hill: The best time to start your hike is in the early morning. Please tell us in advance and we will organize a guide and prepare some morning snacks & drinks for you. Although the path can be quite steep in some parts, the ascent is absolutely worth it. With an average fitness level, you will need about 2h to the peak. The further up you go, the more the forest thins out and the paradisiacal bays open up to you. Standing in midst of high grass, seeing the different shades of blue of the sea in front of you, feeling the fresh breeze in your hair, an adventurous spirit will take you over. The peak is 525 meters above sea level and you can look across the entire Verde Island Passage, catching a faint glimpse of the island of Mindoro in the distance. The second option, if you don’t feel like hiking but would nevertheless like to enjoy the view, is to go up by car. Just let us know and we can take you to the hilltop with our van.
Peninsula Round Trip
If you would like to save the hike up Mt. Gulugod Baboy for later, you can also opt for a Peninsula Roundtrip. The Mabini municipality with its 45,000 inhabitants is situated on the Calumpang Peninsula. Westward, you can find Balayan Bay and on its eastern shores lies Batangas Bay, both being connected by a coastline that stretches over 120km. But don’t worry – you don’t need to go that far, as the municipality of Mabini itself offers a wide variety of leisure time options.
Why not get a tricycle and take a trip with one of our staff around the Calumpang Peninsula? Just tell us in advance and we will find a driver who will take you around for a reasonable price. The whole round trip will take you approximately 2 hours and you can enjoy a ride through picturesque little villages along streets lined with mango and palm trees. Make sure to ask your driver to stop now and then, allowing you to soak in the rustling of the leaves, the voices of tropical birds and of children playing basketball outdoors.
Along the way, you will also pass the bustling town center of Mabini, situated in barangay Bayan. There you can find a statue of Apolinario Mabini, (the "Brains of the Philippine Revolution" and "Sublime Paralytic") the municipality has been named after, probably contemplating over the draft of the constitution for the First Philippine Republic. You can stock up on anything you need in the town center, as there are market stalls, ATMs, small pharmacies, copy and printing shops and a 7/11. Now and then, there will also be fiestas taking place. Feel free to join and mingle with the locals!
